The Family Place is a nonprofit in Washington D.C. that offers educational and support services to low-income families and their children.

For over 30 years, The Family Place has helped low income families in Washington D.C. by providing a welcoming, multi-cultural environment with programs that help meet emergency needs, provide education and training, and offer access to information and other social services. Most of our clients are mothers with young children under the age of five. Our services and classes are offered at no cost to families and enable parents and children to learn, heal and thrive.
