Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS) is a private, nonprofit community service organization dedicated to helping individuals and families find new paths to self-reliance and brighter futures. Nearly 33,000 individuals and families turn to us each year. We are a leader in providing case management, safe housing, counseling, medical and dental access, child care and development, affordable loans, foster and respite care and job training.

    I'm very proud to work for a great non-profit organization like NVFS. It’s reassuring to know that I'm working for something greater than just a business, and to know that all my colleagues are working toward a common goal of assisting our clients and providing the best service possible.     NVFS provides information, education, food, clothing, emergency services and temporary shelter that in many cases prevent our neighbors from becoming homeless
