World Arts Focus dba Joe's Movement Emporium

Dear Joe’s Supporter,

In late March, Joe’s received some tough news about our afterschool program, Club Joe's. In order to meet state licensing standards, we need to make facility upgrades and to conduct additional staff training that will cost $15,000. This is an unexpected cost that comes at a time when resources are already stretched to the limit.

Since we got the news, we have been meeting with our county partners, planning the construction work, and drawing on board, staff, and parents for advice. Already we’ve received great support! Local construction company R.W. Kibler is donating their time and effort for part of the project. Also, Joe’s board members have stepped up to cover half the $15,000 goal already.

Club Joe’s is a safe, active, fun space for kids to explore art and movement and to get in touch with the diverse cultural traditions we share. We serve 50 students daily and are a vital after school link for families in our community.

We need your help to reach our goal of $15,000.
