These are real examples of CrisisLink callers. We have highly trained volunteers who answer these and approximately 54,996 other calls a year. Our lines are manned 24/7/365. We need help to make sure each person that calls get the help they need and deserve.
Suicide is now the 10th leading cause of death in the U.S. with nearly 99 people dying by suicide each day. Previously suicide was the 11th leading cause of death. Those 99 are parents, children, and our neighbors. These deaths can be prevented. That is what we do.
